Change Salary
This job aid guides a manager or administrator how to make salary changes only. Job and salary can be completed as separated transactions or completed as changing the job and salary at once.
Navigation: My Team > My Employees
- From the Job Summary Page, select Change Salary under Things I Can Do.
- Enter the Effective date of the salary change.
- Select the Reason.
- Select new Pay group, if applicable.
- Enter new scheduled hours, if applicable.
Note: Scheduled hours will drive either the hourly pay rate or annual salary displayed. The system will auto calculate based on the scheduled hours and rate entered.
- In the Salary section, select Percent change or New rate.
- Enter percentage or new rate, hourly or salary.
- Select next.
- Enter new Review salary date, if applicable.
- Select New rating.
- Select Type.
- Select Reviewer name.
- Enter Next review date.
- Enter Notes.
- Repeat for Performance, if applicable.
Note: Performance and salary review fields are system defaulted and provided. Organizations determine use of these fields and how to complete them. Often, these reviews are done in mass and not in a standard job or salary change. If that is the case, these fields can be by passed. Check with organization administrators for future information on action to take.
- Select next.
- Select submit.
