Change Primary Job
This job aid guides a manager or administrator how to make primary job changes. Job and salary can be completed as separated transactions or completed as changing the job and salary at once.
Navigation: My Team > My Employees
- Search for the individual criteria in Find by.
- Select the individual's name.
- From Employee Summary Page, Select Side Navigation> Jobs > Job Summary.
- Select Edit or Change Job under Things I Can do.
- Enter the Effective date of the Job change.
- Select the Reason for the job change.
- Select new Job group, if applicable.
Note: Organizational setups determine if a job group will be available. Job groups allow for multiple jobs to be assigned to the individual, outside of the primary assigned job.
- Select New job.
- Enter Alternate title, if applicable.
- Select Save.
