Change Primary Job

This job aid guides a manager or administrator how to make primary job changes. Job and salary can be completed as separated transactions or completed as changing the job and salary at once.

Navigation to change a primary job

 

  1. Search for the individual criteria in Find by.
  2. Select the individual's name.
Change primary job step 1 and 2

  1. From Employee Summary Page, Select Side Navigation> Jobs > Job Summary.
  2. Select Edit or Change Job under Things I Can do.

  1. Enter the Effective date of the Job change.
  2. Select the Reason for the job change.
  3. Select new Job group, if applicable.
  1. Select New job.
  2. Enter Alternate title, if applicable.
  3. Select Save.
